FreePBX Asterisk 13 install g729 & g723.1 codecs - open source versions
freepbx-asterisk-install-g729-g723-codec.sh
Hi, just bought a Raspberry pi and I can use 5 linksys PAP, 1 sipura 3000, 1 fritzfon which are already working with an asterisk on my home server. First thing tomorrow I install asterisk for Raspberry and want to participate in the testing of g729 for arm. Jan 10, 2006 I am trying to install the G.729 codec form intel but I am just going around in circles. My main problem is that I know nothing about Linux so I have no idea what I am doing. The article I am trying to follow is the codecg729 and codecg723.1 for Asterisk from Ready Technology.

# This is for x64 Intel CPU with SSSE4 instructions |
# To check your CPU type, run: cat /proc/cpuinfo and look for 'sse4_1' in the 'flags' line then this script works |
# To check x32 vs x64, run: getconf LONG_BIT |
# If your CPU isnt an x64 or have sse4 support, then get your .so file version at: http://asterisk.hosting.lv/ |
# Tested on Centos x64 - on a FreePBX Distro 13 x64 |
